Baron von Muenchhausen ( 1720–1797 )

The stories of Münchhausen - first published 1781

The stories of Münchhausen (1720–1797) - a german baron - were first collected and published by an anonymous author in 1781. According to the stories the Baron's astounding feats included riding cannonballs, travelling to the Moon, and escaping from a swamp by pulling himself up by his own hair.

My Baron von Münchhausen is 1:10th scale. He is about 6" (14cm) in his sitting position.
He wears shiny black hessian boots made of polymer clay, a silken necktie, a woolen coat that "flows" in the wind, a tricorn and even a ring.
His golden canon ball made of polymer clay is fixated on a strong wire which is firmly glued onto a real stone plate.
