Once upon a time there was a medicine man somewhere in the wild savannahs of Africa. As he was getting old he decided to take on an apprentice so his work would be continued once he passes away. Chumbo was the boy he chose to be his successor.
One day someone sent for the old man to heal him in a remote place somewhere out in the wilds. As he was really getting old, he completely forgot to take the bag with the most important healing herbs and crushed bones with him. So he sent Chumbo on his way. It was a long way back to the medicine man's hut so Chumbo was allowed to ride the old man's rhino, which was a great honour.
